Policy version 2026-10-13. This page lists the cookies and similar technologies this website actually uses, and how to change your choice.
Your choices
Essential cookies are always on because the cart, guest order access and checkout return cannot work without them. Two optional purposes need your choice: remembering your location, and YouTube videos. Both start off until you choose, except for the homepage video described below. You can accept or reject optional cookies with equal ease, now or later, using Cookie settings in the footer of every page.
Playing a video allows YouTube videos across this website. Pressing Play on any video, including after you rejected optional cookies, switches YouTube videos on for the whole site and records that the choice came from a video Play button. It does not switch on location memory. You can switch YouTube videos off again in Cookie settings.
Homepage video exception. Our hero video may load YouTube before you choose. This is a deliberate decision by Stryper Golf and means the hero video does not wait for prior consent. Reject optional (or switch YouTube videos off) to stop it; it then stays blocked, including after reloading, until you allow videos again. Other videos never load before you allow them or press Play.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal (the Sec-GPC header or the browser setting), every YouTube video, including the homepage video, stays blocked. Accepting or pressing Play does not override that signal. Remembering your location can still be allowed.

YouTube videos
When videos are allowed we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Privacy-enhanced is not cookie-free: once a video loads or plays, Google may set cookies or similar storage and receive data such as your IP address and browser details, which Google may use for analytics and advertising. Google decides what it sets and for how long. See Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses cookies and YouTube privacy-enhanced mode.
Before videos are allowed, we show a local image or plain placeholder and make no request to YouTube or Google image servers (apart from the homepage exception above). Withdrawing stops future video loading straight away and removes players from the page, but we cannot delete cookies Google has already set on its own domains; you can remove those in your browser settings.
Other services
- Fonts are served from this website. We make no requests to Google Fonts.
- We have not configured advertising pixels or client-side analytics. Our hosting provider records server logs and traffic statistics from network and browser request details; this does not use cookies set by us.
- Card payments happen on Stripe's hosted checkout on Stripe's own domain, only after you choose to pay. Stripe applies its own cookie and privacy choices there. Payment is part of placing an order, not an optional cookie.
- Contact form messages are sent by email from our server without embedded tracking.
- Staff sign-in for the admin area uses essential authentication cookies managed by our sign-in provider (Clerk). These are only set on the staff sign-in pages, not for customers, and their lifetimes are set by the provider.
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop the cart and guest order pages working. If this browser cannot store your choice, the banner tells you that your choice could not be remembered; it still applies in the open tab.
